Car rental terms and conditions
Maximum 75 years
Younger than 21 years old drivers surcharge is not included in the rental price. It is paid in the local currency at the rental desk.
A full license held for minimum of 2 years with no major endorsements. UK licenses holders need to present the photo card and the paper counterpart.
If your license is not in Roman alphabet (i.e. Arabic, Greek, Russian or Chinese) you need to bring an International Driver license and your domestic license.
Insurance CoverageThe customer is liable to pay the first part of the claim in the event of an accident/collision. The excess fee is the maximum amount that the renter is liable to pay in case of an accident/collision as long as s/he obtains an official police report. Excess fee will be void and the renter will be expected to pay the whole damage costs in case of unreported damages.
In the event of theft, the customer will be expected to submit us the registration and the key of the car. If not, the renter will be expected to pay the whole amount for the loss of the property as it is negligence of the renter and breach of trust.
Third Party Liability Protection & Personal Insurance
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of TL 100,000- for personal injuries and TL 150,000.- for material damages. (Maximum cover for personal injuries is TL 50,000 - per injured person per insured event). Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required drivers license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.

24 Hours Road Assistance
Road assistance available 24/7, 365 days a year.
Additional Driver included in the price.
Full tank is not a must. The renter is expected to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel on pick up.
No refunds will be given for unused fuel. No charge when vehicles are returned with the same amount of fuel, otherwise a refueling charge will be applied. Please note: Due to refueling logistics the car hire supplier may charge a higher rate per liter compared to the normal pump price.
Conditions of Vehicle
Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as picked-up/delivered. Normal wear and tear is, of course, acceptable. Excessive staining or internal damage will be charged for at HolidayAutomobile.com’s valet rates.
It is your responsibility to check the vehicle thoroughly at pick-up/collection.
Cross Border Travel
Cross Border Rentals are not allowed. In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all insurances lose their validity.
Form(s) of ID
A valid photo ID (Passport or National ID).
Another form of identification is required.
We are unable to guarantee a particular make or model. The car displayed on our website or on the fliers is for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative, similar or upgraded car (at no extra cost) at our option.
A printed version of your voucher must be produced on arrival at the rental desk.
18% Included in the rental price unless advised differently.
ACCEPTED: MasterCard and Visa
Credit card(s) must be in the name of the main driver.
NOT ACCEPTED: AMEX, Pre-paid credit cards, Laser, Maestro, debit, or Switch cards
In the rental that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, HolidayAutomobile.com may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.
All rates are only converted and payable in local currency. We are not responsible for fluctuation of currencies.
HolidayAutomobile.com will charge if key(s) are lost or badly damaged. Note if vehicle is stolen and keys are not returned to rental supplier, the insurance is deemed void. Please keep an eye on your key(s) as new cars can now not be stolen without them. We strongly recommend that you take all rental tags off key(s) and place in the glove box until your return so as not to direct thieves to the exact details of your vehicle.
Where we state key(s), we mean all types of key and key-cards.
Fines and Penalties
You are responsible for the cost of any garaging, tolls, congestion charges, parking, traffic fines and other penalties incurred whilst the vehicle is contracted to you. HolidayAutomobile.com will pass the relevant charges on to you plus any administrative expenses.
There is no refund for early returns.
Client may cancel according to our cancellation policy and may get refund. Our cancellation policy ; In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your rental, HolidayAutomobile.com will levy a charge for the cancellation of your booking prior to your collection date (see below).
No refunds will be given for rentals ended early, for late collections, for no shows or for cancellations made after the rental start date. All cancellations must be made in writing, mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org and will take effect from the date received by HolidayAutomobile.com. We do not accept cancellation by telephone. Cancellation charges are;
- 72 or more hours before start date - FREE
- 48 hours before start date 50%
- 24 hours before start date 70%
- 12 hours before start date No Refund
Booking Changing Policy
A booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (on availability). Any payment already made towards the rental will not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this alteration leads to a lesser rental cost.
The rental vehicle must never be removed from the place of accident until police report has been completed and HolidayAutomobile.com (below referred as the car rental company) has been notified. In case of any accident involving your rental car, you must immediately contact the nearest police station and obtain an accident report. The report should clearly state if you were driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you do not report the accident to the police and comply with the requirements under the country's law, the insurance may become invalid. It is mandatory that you also report any accident or damage to the car rental company.
In case of other damages to the rental car, the above procedure should also be followed. If the vehicle is damaged while parked, you have to report the damage to the car rental company before the car is moved. In case of theft, it is mandatory that you immediately inform the car rental company, file a police report and then give a copy of this document to the car rental company. Car documents and keys must be handed to the car rental company.
In general, the client must IMMEDIATELY report all damages to the car rental company.
Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.
For every traffic offence HolidayAutomobile.com have to process, an administration charge will apply. An administration charge is necessary to cover the time and cost of us, as a business in processing incoming your fine(s) on your behalf. Once we receive your traffic fine notification, we have to investigate each offence, match it to the relevant renter, pay the appropriate authority within the statutory deadline and then invoice you/the customer/driver accordingly at the earliest to avoid any delays. HolidayAutomobile.com charge 20 TL + TAX for each traffic offence.
HolidayAutomobile.com have the right to cancel any reservation in 48 hours.
